The Fast And The Furious (2001)
You Like Fast Cars? The movie stars Brian O'Conner, Paul Walker, who is an under cover cop who really loves to street race. During one of his races, he meets Toretto, Vin Diesel, and he is just as competitive and fast as he is. In their race, cops were ready to arrest them because of course street racing is illegal. Now the cops after Toretto send Brian to arrest him, but in the movie they really starte bonding a friendship where he didn't really want to arrest him. The real villains here were Johnny Tran, Rick Yune, and Reggie Lee, Lance Nguyen, where one held a grudge on Toretto for being with his sister and worked with him. In the movie, Brian starts a relationship with Toretto's sister Mia, Jordana Brewster. So there is some good in the film, I did enjoy the racing and a bit of the action, but really the movie is kind of like Point Break with cars, only Point Break is a much superior film. First off the acting feels incredibly wooden, particualy with Jesse, Chad Lindberg, who is a friend of their group that was really annoying, so his death seriously didn't mean anything, especially with the way the third act tried to be rushed. So in the third act, Toretto is mad at Brian because he is a cop, but then they team up to kill the villains, and then afterwards they race. Really that was the end, I could really tell that they tried to fit everything at the last minute, because most of the time they gave more attention to other characters, and I like Michelle Rodriquez as Toretto's girlfriend named Letty, but I did notice some parts where they gave her a lot of attention as well as other characters. It isn't terrible, but it isn't fantastic, you can watch this movie and be really entertained, but know that this movie is just to put if your out with some friends and enjoy street racing. Overall: 7/10

2 Fast 2 Furious (2003)
How Fast Do You Like It? The movie kicks off with Brian, Paul Walker, in a race where he wins, plus this is where we get the introduction of Tej, Ludacris, and all he did was promote his music as his songs where being played throughout the whole movie. Vin Diesel was not in this movie, so it had to get a new person to be on Brian's side, so that is where we get introduced to Roman, Tyrese Gibson, and I didn't know if he was trying to be the funny guy or the serious guy, so I could never get into this characrter because of that. Anywhays the main plot of this movie is to stop Carter Verone, Cole Verone, who in my opinion is one of the worst villains in film history, talk about incredibly forgettable. All people wanted to see in this movie was some more fast cars, which in some ways we did get, but again there was so much talking that got boring, and to top it all off, the acting is still wooden throughout the whole movie.Eva Mendes is in this movie played by some girl named Monica, and I honestly thought she was thrown in there for eye candy, because if you get rid of this character, the story can still flow. Seeing this movie felt like a complete reboot if you think about it. Change the villain, replace Vin Diesel with Tyrese Gibson, and also replace Jordana Brewster with Eva Mendes and its basically a reboot. At least I can say that when we do get races, they are cool, that was the only thing saving this film, but even that didn't matter all that much, and by the way the car designs look a bit too colorful and fake, talk about some bad CGI. Honestly the first one is good on its own, if it wasn't for the sequels in the 2010's this franchose would be dead in no time, and even Tej and Roman become enjoyable in those movies unlike this one. I personally didn't enjoy this movie, thought it was too dull! Overall: 3/10

The Fast And The Furious: Toyko Drift (2006)
Let's Ride With An All New Cast! The movie stars Lucas Black playing a character named Sean who feels like an outsider, and he has wanted to be a Car Racer, but his dad, Brian Goodman, refuses. Currently he does authority work with his father, and he is just bored with it. Some of the other cast members did fine in the film, there is Twinkie played by Bow Wow who is off and on when he is being the comedy character. Nathalie Kelley played a love interest of course and I could erase her from this movie and it won't matter. Now this is the movie where we finally see Han played by Sung Kang which he later does the next couple of movie that came on later in the series, but in this movie he was known as Sean's trainer, the one who showed him the ropes on being the man to be a good racer. Not having the original cast in the movie was a huge step for the series to take, and it failed since this is the lowest rated film in the entire franchise, even though this does have Vin Diesel make a cameo at the very end of the movie. This movie actually is important to the series much later as this movie takes place a little bit after movies later on in the franchise. I do enjoy parts of the movie like the way Tokyo looks in this movie, and there are some parts of the story where your saying its okay, but what really drags this film down is Lucas Black. In order for a movie to work, you need to get invested on the main guy, which didn't happen in this movie, Lucas Black was way to boring for me, and his acting was incredibly dull as he had no charisma what so ever. This must be one of the most wierdest movies to watch since I don't think its a bad movie or a good one, it is right down the middle. I'll say if your interested on how this movie connects to the future installment, then view it from that point, that's it! Overall: 5/10

Fast & Furious (2009)
New Model, Original Parts! The movie stats with a mission with Toretto, Vin Diesel, and a group of friends to rob money, and this was similar to what he was doing in the first one. He leaves Letty, Michelle Rodriquez, with a lot of money because he believes that things will get too dangerous. Letty gets killed, and Toretto is after the person who killed her, and meanwhile Brian, Paul Walker, is going after Braga, John Ortiz, who is boss of the killer of Letty. In order to get to him, they needed to be in a race to qualify to get to it. My biggest problem was that the race just vanishes out of no where like it never happened. I feel that out of all the previous movies, this one was the better one, but I still can't say its great. Gal Gadot is in this movie, she plays Gisele who is dating Braga, but later on helps Toretto because I thought she was starting to like him, but she understands how he truly loves Letty. This movie takes place before the previous movie because Han, Sung Kang, is in this movie right before he helps out Toretto and when he is ready to leave, he says, "I hear Tokyo is nice.", and that is last we see of him here. The real reason why these movies really worked were because of the chemistry between Paul Waker and Vin Diesel, still after dealing with how the first movie ended, they work things out, and Brian even goes back with Mia, Jordana Brewster. The way the movie ended was great, Toretto realizes that he can't be running all the time, and that he should turn himself in. He had 25 years of prison, but the ending was with Brian, Mia, and some friends of Toretto played by Don Amor and Tego Calderon, bailing him out. I enjoyed this movie, not as great as the next installments, but we are close to a successful franchise! Overall: 8/10

Fast Five (2011)
Welcome To Rio Heist! The movie kicks off with Dominic Toretto, Vin Diesel, who gets bailed out of jail from Brian O'Conner, Paul Walker, who is a former cop Mia, Jordana Brewster, and now all of them are wanted. They are up to do one job and that is to confront the business man who wants them dead, and that is why they form an elite team of racer from the past like Roman, Tyrese Gibson, and Tye, Ludacris, as well as others. Their group of friends and them are all now count to be criminals and is is up to agent Luke Hobbs, Dwayne Johnson, to go after them and stop them from trying to steel the money from Herman Reyes, Joaquim de Almeida. The cool thing about this movie is that out of all the movies from this franchise, it can really stand alone on itself because the first two movies were about racing, the third one too but without the original cast, and the fourth one tried to be a rebbot for the franchise but sadly didn't have a lot of buzz. This movie for me is a perfect way to keep the old and not bother with the other movies. Some of the problems would be that there are some points where it is a bit slow, and the acting still needs some work. For people saying that this movie isn't realistic enough, that is what it was suppost to be, and the story was a bit generic, but this plot hasn't been film or choreographed in this form, so Justin Lin completely delivered on that. For me the perfect way to describe this movie is fun and wild. This is the type of movie that knows it's ridiculously fun, and it rules. The biggest prop for me is Dwayne Johnson who proof he can be a kick-ass action star especially with that fight with Vin Diesel. I suggest you to watch it, and it gave the franchise a new face lift! Fast & Furious 6 (2013)
All Roads Lead To This! The movie starts with Dominic, Vin Diesel, and Brian, Paul Walker, driving as if they were racing but they are going to see the birth of Mia's, Jordana Brewster, child with Brian. Luke Hobbs, Dwayne Johnson, returns in this movie and he wants to team up with Dominic and his team to stop Shaw, Luke Evans. The biggest twist here is that Letty, Michelle Rodriquez, returns and is actually teaming up with Shaw, which motivates Dominic to try and help out. What I really like about the series is the whole team, these guys are super entertaining and very fun to watch, especially Roman Pearce, Tyrese Gibson, and Tej, Ludacris. I thought they were the funniest people in the film and it helped whenever this film hit some slow parts in the story. The chemistry with Han, Sung Kang, and Gisele, Gal Gadot, was still there where you felt that these two were probably gonna get married, but due to the third act battle, Gisele sadly didn't make it. Due to this insident, Han goes to Tokyo which is where he and Gisele where gonna spend their time. With that is leads to an end credit scene that shows scenes from 'The Fast And The Furious; Tokyo Drift' and it sets up the next movie. Mainly the movie deals with Dominic trying to reunite with Letty, but she doesn't quite remember much from them, and Dominic is trying to get her back, so the scene where he rescues he from the tank made it even more great. Just like 'Fast Five' it was a crazy fun and entertaining movie to watch with a nice story being added to it. The characters were still fun, the action was crazy as always, and Shaw as the villain was devious, he doesn't care who he hurts unless he gets what he wants. Its a fun movie to watch, so you should totally watch this film. Overall: 9/10

Furious 7 (2015)
For Paul! The movie starts with an introduction of Ian Shaw, Jason Statham, and he is wanting vengeance for his brother. Meanwhile the story is that Letty, Michelle Rodriquez, is still trying to remember who she was without Dominic, Vin Diesel, tellingher who she used to be. In the movie, there is hardly any showing of Hobbs, Dwayne Johnson, which was very disappointing considering how awesome the third act with him was. I personally believed that Ian Shaw was quite good as a villain, but the most talked about thing for this movie was how useless the plot was and how it felt like an after thought. The action for this movie was the most talked about thing in this movie besides the finale. We cars flying out of plains, cars going throught buildings, and even an over the top street fight between Dominic and Shaw. Some things in this movie was really worthless to have or just dull, for example the fight between Letty and Ronda Rousey was whatever, but after watching the built to that scene shows me that Ronda does not know how to act. This movie also made Tokyo Drift pointless because all it did was show us the death of Han. Now that Han and Gisele are out of the picture, it was time to bring a new character to the mix and that was Megan Ramsey, Nathalie Emmanuel, who is a hacker Ian Shaw was going after, and I feel she can fit in this series, especially the beef that was going on between Roman, Tyrese Gibson, and Tej, Ludacris. Now what made people talk about the movie was Brian O'Conner, Paul Walker, who sadly died, and they CGI'ed his face to his brother and leadsto the sadly finale with him leaving showing clip with him and Diesel, and this could've easily ended the series since everything was wrapped up. Good movie, R.I.P. Paul Walker! Overall: 8/10

The Fate Of The Furious (2017)
Family No More! So in this movie Dom, Vin Diesel, goes Rogue after Charlize Theron's character uses him and his old team is up to stop her as well as get Dom back. Because it is difficult to get Dom back, Mr. Nobady, Kurt Russell, is getting help from both Luke Hobbs, Dwayne Johnson, and Ian Shaw, Jason Statham, who do hate each other, but the chemistry with these two characters was the best part of the whole movie, and honestly Jason Statham is now one of my favorite characters in this franchise. The reasoning for Dom turning on his team makes scene, and super unpredictable. Elena, Elsa Pataky, is back on this movie, but she is kidnapped with Dom's baby who was born during the time that he and Letty, Michelle Rodriquez, reunited. People knew that this franchise would not be the same without Paul Walker, but referencing him was really nice. Roman, Tyrese Gibson, bring him up saying that he could get Dom back, but then again they promise to not get him or Mia, Jordana Brewster, involve again. Also, at the end of the movie, the baby never had a name, so Dominic decided to name the baby Brian just like Paul Walker's character in the movie. The action in this movie was stupid and ridiculous, and I loved it, especially the final battle involving torpedoes, submarines, and of course cars. Another scene I loke was Jason Statham rescuing the baby, it showed that he can also be funny and kick ass. For the most parts, the negative were just that the movie at points doesn't make sense, but if you've seen this movie franchise since the beginning, you know that the franchise is mainly focusing on one thing, and that is fun. If you love the franchise, then this is your movie, this is probably one of my favorites in the franchise. Overall: 7/10
