Harry Potter And The Sorcerer's Stone (2001)
Let The Magic Begin! The movie begins with Dumbledore (Richard Harris), McGonagall (Maggie Smith), and Hagrid (Robbie Coltrane) leaving a baby with his uncles, and that baby was Harry Potter, Daniel Radcliffe. Years later after living with his family of the Dursleys (Richard Griffiths, Fiona Shaw, Harry Melling) he gets accepted to a school called Hogwarts, and Hagrid went to get him since the name "Harry Potter" is incredibly famous. Throughout this story he meets two friends named Ron, Rupert Grint, and Hermione, Emma Watson, and from there you start a friendship which doesn't work at first, but give it build and you start loving it. Now they find a Three-Headed Dog and a Troll that attack the school and you also notice how curious he gets when he sees Snape, Alan Rickman, who is believed that he is after the Sorcerer's Stone which gives the power of immortality, and the guys are trying to stop that. Chris Columbus knew that this movie had to deliver to create a huge franchise of movies to make J.K. Rowling's books come to the big screen! One character in particular I thought was being built well, but ended up being too wimpy and didn't work on being a main villain, and that was Malfoy, Tom Felton, something about this character just said disappointment for me and just didn't work. Now I didn't read the books, so when I found out that Quirrell, Ian Hart, was actually the bad guy of the movie really surprised me. This movie did the job of setting up this Wizard World and develop your main characters so when you see the next movie, you are ready to have a better movie, and continue the story of Harry Potter, because when you watch this movie, you will be left with questions! Overall: 8/10

Harry Potter And The Chamber Of Secrets (2002)
The Magic Is Back! The movie starts with Ron, Rupert Grint, bailing out Harry, Daniel Radcliffe, from his house because of the trouble he got from Dobby, Toby Jones, when he kept making him miss the 9-3/4 Train, taking the letters from Ron and Hermione, Emma Watson, but once we get to his final scenes you actually get to like him when you realized he was doing this because he was working for Lucius Malfoy, Jason Isaacs, the father of Draco Malfoy, Tom Felton. In this movie, The Chamber of Secrets has been opened...again! Previously it has been opened before, and with that it is located in the Hogwarts School. Now Harry predicts that Hagrid, Robbie Coltrane, is the one who opened The Chamber of Secrets when he opened a book that showed him what happened the first time that Chamber was opened. Now the reason as to why Harry hears the voice was because he can talk to snakes, showing a special easter egg to the previous movie when Dudley, Harry Melling, almost gets bit by one, and not only that, but we also saw a fight with Draco Malfoy. This movie was just as great or even a bit better than the first movie, a character that I thought was just a fraud was Gilderoy Lockhart, Kenneth Branagh. He was there because everyone believes he is this awesome Wizard because he wrote books of stories taken from other Wizards, and he just came off as this annoying wannabe that when he got zapped by Snape, Alan Rickman, I was clapping, he wasn't like a Jar Jar Binks kind of annoying, I just didn't like or even cared for Lockhart after this movie. Again I think that this movie was much better because we already know there story thanks to the first movie, know it was time to continue the story! Overall: 8/10

Harry Potter And The Prisoner Of Azkaban (2004)
Bye Bye Chris Columbus! The movie starts off with Harry, Daniel Radcliffe, heading to Hogwart and picking up stuff from a Wizard Library and in a newspaper he find out about the Prisoner Of Azkaban Sirius Black, Gary Oldman, and in the movie you hear that Sirius has escaped from Azkaban and he is on his way to Hogwarts. Now a new teacher arrives named Remis Lupin, David Thewlis, who actually saved Harry, Ron (Rupert Grint), and Hermione (Emma Watson) from a Dementor which is also known as Harry's biggest ear ever, and once the movie developed that story, it shows that it needs to take Harry twice to stop a Dementor that he will have to use the spell Expecto Patronum twice which was cool when he used it when they traveled back in time, it was cool detailed to see that. Now Sirious Black was the guy that was believed to kill Harry's parents, but instead it was actually Peter Pettigrew, Timothy Spall, who was Ron's pet rat the whole time which made the scenes with Hermine and Ron very odd in the beginning when Ron believed that her cat ate the rat, but the truth of it was that since it was Ron's rat all this time, he has been running around Hogwarts while they try so hard to kill him, but fail and he leaves so he can finish the job for his Lord Voldermont. With this being named after the best book in the Harry Potter franchise, they delivered perfectly top to bottom which was great that they got rid of Chris Columbus and replaced him with Alfonso Cuaron and gave the future movies more potential be have a lot of that dark feeling that a Harry Potter movie really nedded, Chris Columbus did good with the first two, but I didn't believe he could continue these movies being too family friendly! Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire (2005)
Everything Is About To Change! The movie starts with Harry, Daniel Radcliffe, having a dream with the death of his father, Adrian Rawlins, by Peter Pettigrew, Timothy Spall, but eventually we head over to Hogwarts, and this time Harry wasn't with the Dursleys. In Hogwarts, there was a tournament happening with three schools having different contestant to compete, but Harry Potter mysteriously becomes the fourth person to enter The Tri-Wizard Tournament when his name was inserted in The Goblet Of Fire. The tournament would have three differnet tasks where the contestants are ready to put their lives on the line. Cedric Diggory, Robert Pattison, was the original contestant to represent Hogwart, but he and Harry help each other out as the tournament goes on, and I have to say that this character was really memorable for this movie. Honestly I really enjoyed this movie, and the tournament helped it be incredibly cool and Mike Newell used a style of Alfonso Cuaron and Chris Columbus that really worked with this movie and there really is only one dull moment in the movie which was Hermione, Emma Watson, crying after Ron, Rupert Grint, made her feel bad for dancing with the "enemy". The thing I will always remember of this movie will be that this movie brought back Lord Voldemort, Ralph Fiennes, and seeing him was awesome. This movie got me excited for what was next coming for the franchise, and I was happy to watch this movie because it was a lot of fun. Barty Crouch Jr., David Tennant, pretended to be Alastor Moody, Brendan Gleeson, was good, and I guess that was the end of Crouch. Good movie, The Harry Potter Franchise is going strong! Harry Potter And The Order Of The Phoenix (2007)
The Rebellion Begins! The movie begins with Harry, Daniel Radcliffe, who is being in court for using his magic outside of Hogwarts when he keeps seeing Voldemort, Ralph Feinnes, after him and he is attacked by Death Eaters. Dolores Umbridge, Imelda Staunton, takes over Hogwarts and she ended up being the most annoying characters in the universe, but I was completely blesses after what happened at the end with this character. While she is taking over, Harry teams up with Ron, Rupert Grint, and Hermione, Emma Watson, to help create The Order to face the Death Eaters. Something I always found funny was to see Harry finally being with Cho Chang, Katie Leung, since she dated Cedric in the previous movie, but of course he died. Something cool about this movie is that we get to learn about Snape, Alan Rickman, and how as a student back then he was in love with Harry's mom, but it didn't work out, and you end up seeing a bigger bond with Harry and Snape in this movie with Harry's nightmares keep haunting him. The training in this movie was really good and visually cool, but eventually due to the trouble that they got into, the team decided to quit The Order. In the end, the main three along side Ginny (Bonnie Wright), Neville (Matthew Lewis), and Luna (Evanna Lynch) are ready to take on the Death Eaters where you have Lucias, Jason Isaacs, and Bellatrix, Helena Bonham Carter, who kills Sirius Black, Gary Oldman, which was a way to have Harry lose it and have Voldemort go after him and lead to a battle with him and Dumbledore, Michael Gambon. This movie was really good, I do have some problems since it is a big book with 2 hours and 22 minutes, still good, but some pacing is odd. Overall: 9/10

Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows: Part 1 (2010)
Nowhere Is Safe! The movie starts with Harry, Daniel Radcliffe, getting ready to battle and also his friends on his side! Now we kicked off with a kick ass chase between The Dark Forces and The Weasley family, but in this movie we see the death of Alastor Moody, Brenden Gleeson, and afterwards this entire movie feels like a set up for the next movie, and through most of this moie it was all Harry and Hermione, Emma Watson. Ron, Rupert Grint, had this jealousy in the movie which mad him leave, but eventually he came back. I thought that this was easily the worst Harry Potter Movie out of the whole franchise, but I manage to still have fun for a bit with the movie, and more particularly with the first half hour and the last half hour. For the last time ever we see Dobby, Toby Jones, who was quite goofy in The Chamber Of Secrets, but after this movie you are seriously gonna miss him because he gets killed by Bellatrix, Helena Bonham Carter. I feel that the biggest disappointment in this movie was with the villains, we didn't get a lot of scenes with these guys, and I was really disappointment that we didn't see much of Snape, Alan Rickman, who is in fact one of or if not my favorite characters here. I also forgot to bring up that he was part of the beginning of the movie which I loved with Lord Voldermont, Ralph Fienness, gets his snake and kills off Rita Skeeter, Miranda Richardson, which was cool. Even with this being a weak movie in the Harry Potter bunch, you can't deny that this movie had it's memorable moments and I agree that this movie needed to be into two parts, especially with the ending here! Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows: Part 2 (2011)
IT ALL ENDS! The movie starts exactly where we ended in Part 1 where Lord Voldermont, Ralph Fienness, taking Dumbledore's, Michael Gambon, wand from him, and Harry, Daniel Radcliffe, saying goodbye to Dobby, Tommy Jones, one more time before the mission starts, plus with Harry would still continuously get flashbacks of what Voldermont is up to so the story goes on. When Neville, Matthew Lewis, bring Harry and his friends go back to the school to stop Snape, Alan Rickman, but once hewas killed by Voldermont, we see flashbacks of Snape's entire life in Hogwards plus the knowing of Dumbledore's plan to be killed by Snape so Voldermont gets confidence to trust Snape, but it was all just a plan so that Harry Potter can finally stop him, and that right there is great writing at its finest! That moment I witness Harry dying was just confusion, bugt if you read the books, not as much. Lets quickly talk about Draco, Tom Felton, he finally gets a chance to kill Harry for himself, but gets stopped by Hermione, Emma Watson, and Ron, Rupert Grint, but eventually causes a fire which it causes them to save Draco and his friends. Lots of deaths in this movie with a lot of the Weasley family being gone, and speaking of Weasley, we have Molly, Julie Walters, with the best line in the movie killing off one of the favorite villains in this franchise Bellatrix, Helena Bonham Carter, cool to see her dead, kinda wished Neville killed her, but I guess Neville gets to kill the snake. I love this film, it is my favorite of the franchise and really such a great way to wrap everything up like seeing finally Helena Ravenclaw, Kelly Macdonald, this is what writing is about, from start to finish, this movie never let me down! Overall: 10/10
