Toy Story (1995)
A Franchise Is Born! The movie starts with a little boy named Andy, John Morris, playing with his toys, and when he leaves the room, his toys come to life, and they are led by a cowboy toy named Woody, Tom Hanks, and on Andy's birthday is coming up, and the toys are worried about what presents Andy might get, plus it was really cool seeing some characters react to what they want Andy to get, example would be Mr. Potato Head, Don Rickles, wants a Ms. Potato Head which brought some solid humor in that scene alone. The final Toy Andy gets is Buzz Lightyear, Tim Allen, who starts becoming not only Andy's new favorite toy, but also for the rest of the crew! When this rivalry becomes too far, they both get lost and end up in the house next to Andy's neighbor Sid, Erik Von Detten, and they try to escape the house before Andy's family moves to another house, and also before Sid does something crazy and destroy Woody and Buzz. This movie was amazing, lots of people thought it was gonna fail, low and be hold how many people were wrong, and also usually when a movie involves talking moving toys you think about horror movies. The movie also brought lots of emotions when Buzz realized that he is a toy and not an actual astronaut. Now I really do think that Sid could have had a bit more story telling to know why Sid does what he does instead of just destroying toys for no reason, and I did like to find out that the toys he destroyed are actually good people and not Zombie like toys because you do realize that the real enemy is Sid, and all the toys must work together to finally stop this bully. Great movie, the way this movie ended teased a sequal, and very deserving because Pixar you knew was going places! Overall: 9/10

A Bug's Life (1998)
Talk About Being Outdated! The movie stars Flik, Dave Foley, with a group of ants constantly having food ready for some grasshoppers who are lead by Hopper, Kevin Spacey. Flik decides to go look for some warriors to take on these grasshoppers before they come back and get treats from Hopper. Now the group of people who Flik got ended up just being a circus act who recently got fired, but something made Flik believe they were warriors. They weren't instead they were more much of some cowards. A bird flies out and this circus act manages to find a way to stop it. Princess Atta, Julia Louis-Drefus, tells Flik that Hopper is terrified of birds, and then they all decide to make a fake bird to scare off the grasshoppers. I feel that no body really remembers the plot of the movie, but instead people just say that this movie is incredibly forgettable and I have to agree. For me, I can tell that this movie get way to outdated as years go by and there is not a lot to remember. There is a child like ant in the movie named Dot, Hayden Panettiere, who can come off as very annoying. Honestly the circus characters were my favorite thing of the whole movie, they were fun and entertaining all out fun. Now Hopper was for me the most underrated villain out there, Kevin Spacey voicing him was really good. I don't hate this movie, as a kid I really enjoyed this movie so much, but I do see that I don't believe in coming back to see this movie and believe that this was a Pixar classic, and I'm sorry but it is not. This movie is worth seeing, and sure it isn't that great, but the good of it is good. All I ill go say is to check it out for yourself, if your a Pixar fan, then this movie will be enjoyable to watch! Overall: 8/10

Toy Story 2 (1999)
Wow, The Sequel Delivered! The movie starts Rex, Wallace Shawn, is playing Buzz's, Tim Allen, video game and he loses to Emperor Zurg, Andrew Stanton. Also, a yard sale is going on, but Woody,Tom Hanks, is saving his friend Wheezey, Joe Ranft, from getting sold, and eventually Al, Wayne Knight, steels Woody because he likes to collect toys, and now it is up for Buzz and his friends to try to find and save Woody. Now with Woody being stolen, he bumps into the characters Jessie (Joan Cusack), Bullseye, and Pete (Kelsey Grammer) and he gets to find out a little bit more about himself, and due to that, he doesn't want to go back home. Now these new characters that were added were on point, and you can't help but to feel for them, especially for Jessie, she got abandoned when her owner got older and she was never played with again, which is a fear of her to be in a box, which I think it is incredibly genius showing how toys feel when they have to be trapped in a box. Now when the gang goes to a toy store and hope to find Woody, which instead Buzz finds another one of him, which later on you realize that this Buzz acts exactly like Buzz did in the first movie when you barely get to know him, plus that battle with Zurg knowing that Zurg actually is Buzz Lightyear's father was an odd twist, yet it won't be as powerful as when Darth Vader said it to Luke Skywalker, still a cool moment with some laughter. Now I don't believe I liked this movie as mucha s the first one, I still really like it, this could have easily been a flop, but low and behold that this sequal continue the story and be one of the more memorable sequals in history, which is odd to see from a kids movie. Go watch this movie, you like the first one, this is just as good! Overall: 9/10

Finding Nemo (2003)
A Beautiful Adventure! The movie starts with a clown fish Marlin, Albert Brooks, seeing his wife and kids being killed, but one baby still lived which Marlin's wife really wanted a baby named Nemo, so he named him that. Fast forward to the present and Nemo, Alexander Gould, is ready to go on his first day to school, but Marlin is scared to lose him. On the first day of school, Nemo goes with with friends and try to touch the boat in which Nemo gets captured and now Marlin tries tofind his son and brings him home where then he would find a blue fish named Dory, Ellen DeGeneres. Throughout the adventure, Marlin and Dory are in an adventure and find the location in where Nemo seems to be. Meanwhile Nemo is in a dentist and he and a group of friends are trying to escape before Darla, LuLu Ebeling, came and take Nemo for his birthday. I love this film top to bottom, it is by far my favorite Pixar movie of all time, talk about an adventure in the ocean. I really enjoyed how Dory was being made in the film, she was funny and by far the breakout star of the film, I couldn't imagine someone else voicing Dory except for Ellen DeGeneres. I remembered being scared of Bruce, Barry Humphries, he had that Jaws feel to him which Directors Andrew Stanton and Lee Unkrick have said that they got their motivation from Jaws before. Thge list can go on for cool characters throughout the movie, but the emotions going in when watching this film was a thrill ride, you were sad when Marlin's wife was killed, you were happy when Nemo was found, you were laughing whenever Dory had something to say. By far a movie that touched my heart and became probably one of the best animations ever! Overall: 10/10

The Incredibles (2004)
The Fantastic Four Done Right! Now the movie starts on the day of the wedding for Mr. Incredible, Craig T. Nelson, and Elastigirl, Holly Hunter, but before that happens, you get to see them living life as super heroes, and we see that its not just the Incredibles who are super heroes, there are other characters, but we don't get to meet them, only Frozone, Samuel L. Jackson. Now between the present day and the day of the wedding, Super Heroes got sued for creating damage to the city. Now Mr. Incredible wants to go back to the days he loved when being a Super Hero. Now he is hired for a secret project to finally get his days to feel once again like a Super Hero. So training and training and his he later realizes that he really loves being with his family more, and then that later shows that they bond at the end to be this super family with their kid's Dash (Spencer Fox) who runs fast, Violet (Sarah Vowell) who turns invisible, and Jack-Jack who we actually get to see the least out of everyone, but when he gets his moment of shine, he gets it! Now the villain was great, Jason Lee as Syndrome was the perfect villain and was one of the highlights of the movie, a character who loved Mr. Incredible as a child until he made him feel worthless and now whats to be the new super hero by destroying every Super Hero in mankind. Lets talk about the action, I loved the living hell out of it, I really do believe that every character had their moment to shine, even non-super powered characters like Edna Mode, Brad Mode, she was funny and really kept the super heroes together, I guess you can call her the Professor X of Pixar. Anyways I loved this movie from top to bottom, it gets better every time I see it, and it was in fact Incredible! Overall: 10/10

Cars (2006)
LIFE IS A HIGHWAY! The movie starts with a race and we get to know a bit of Lightning McQueen, Owen Wilson, and how famous he really is a huge jerk, and in this race he wins the race in a three way draw hi, another car, and Chick Hicks(Michael Keaton). As Red, Joe Ranft, takes McQueen, he sleeps and McQueen slips out of Red, oh by the way, Red is a truck. Lightning McQueen is in a regular town and he doesn't know anything outside the fame, and since he thinks its the same, he is kind of a jerk at first. He fall in love with an ordinary girl in this movie named Sally, Bonnie Hunt, and I was thinking she was gonna be the one to show him how fun is is to not be famous and be ordinary, instead we have his new best friend Matter, Larry The Cable Guy, and sure you can say Doc Hudson, Paul Newman, was the start and honestly that would be better to have Doc Hudson and Sally, but for some reason Matter had to be the one to have more time with Lightning McQueen, now the chemistry with them is okay, not horrible, however there are lots of scenes with them that I could have easily ignored like them and the cows, waking them up and just being dumb was lame. Now there have been many reactions to the movie, lots of people hated the movie, and other thought is was good, however I was that guy who thought it was okay, it was a huge disappointing for Pixar considering all the classics they had in the past, and the real problem was that they put a bit too many main characters that really made the movie hard to get to know and honestly, they were incredibly forgettable, and sadly Matter wasn't one of them, I really disliked this character! However, a decent enough movie and a great theme song! Overall: 7/10

WALL-E (2008)
A Beautiful Love Story! So this movie starts with WALL-E, Ben Burtt, and he is a robot stuck on earth just turning a dumb on the world into boxes and making it clean, now it has been over hundreds of years since anyone has been on earth and because of that he is always sad and lonely, which is something new, a robot with feelings, good job, Pixar. One day, a robot was sent named EVE, Eliss Knight, who was sent to look for something with life so then people can say that there are other places to stay instead of just a space ship. Once EVE fould a shoe with a little plant she shut down, and WALL-E tried so much to have her come back with energy and of course he is in love with EVE because he has been alone for majority of his life, and during the time EVE was working, he tries to impress her, and I really like this because lots of people including myself can totally relate. Once a space ship took EVE again, WALL-E didn't want to lose his one true friend, so he held on to the ship until they got to their destination and this led to a new story for the movie about how people shouldn't just sit around doing nothing but look at a screen and sitting down, and the Captain, Jeff Garlin, finds out how great earth is and how he should go back, but because it has been nearly decades since going to earth, the second half of the movie was a bit weaker, but they happen to find a way to make the WALL-E and EVE story be around still, the whole no dialogue with the robots worked very well and I thought it was gonna be that for the whole movie, I could kinda tell that if the whole movie was like that for the whole hour and a half, it could have gotten really old quick, but it worked, and that scene with WALL-E and EVE in outter space, BEAUTIFUL! Overall: 9/10

Up (2009)
Up, Up, And Away! The movie starts with Carl Fredricksen, Ed Asner, as a young boy when he meets the love of his life named Ellie, Elie Fredricksen. Now right off the bat, the first 5 to 10 minutes of this movie were some of the most heart felt minutes I've ever seen in a Pixar film, as you see the life of Carl and Ellie goes, including her death. Fast forward years later, Carl is 78 Years Old, and he feels bad that he never got to go to the South American wilderness. With his neighborhood being so terrible, and he setting ready to be in a retirement home, he decides to put thousands of balloons in his house and go to the wilderness. During the events of flying, a little boy scout named Russell, Jordan Nagai, who can come off a a bit annoyin, but once you meet the Molan bird Kevin, he started being a bit movie enjoyable, especially once the movie ends. Dug, Bob Peterson, is a dog who speaks due to a neckless made by Charles Muntz, Pete Docter, who I really though was fine, but I really didn't want to see in this movie. Some of the dogs with Muntz worked on the film, that squirrel line was by far the funniest line in the movie. The main story for these guys is that Charles Muntz is actually Carl's inspiration, so imagine seeing someone you look up to be the villain in the movie, kind of like in The Incredibles, but in reverse. For me the most emotional scene in the movie was when Carl worked so hard to get to his destination, and he finds Ellie's journal of things she was gonna do and sees pictures of their wedding, plus a lot of things that made those two connect. In the beginning I really didn't really enjoy the movie, but I re-watched it and I have to say that it gets better and better as time goes, a Pixar movie that is memorable for its moments, sure the story was odd, but it is just a movie that must be seen. Toy Story 3 (2010)
Goodbye Andy! So the movie starts with one of the coolest imaginations ever with Andy, John Morris, and you see clips of what happen between this movie and the previous one back in 1999. Anyways fast forward to the present and Andy is going to collage and he hasn't played with his toys in a while, but the toys want Andy to have a good moment with them one more time. In the story he puts the toys in a trash bag, but his real plan was to put them in the addict, ow its smart to keep Woody, Tom Hanks, by far Andy's favorite toy out the bag so Woody can see what is happening, but of course the crew doesn't believe him. So they all get in a box that Andy's mom will take them to a preschool and the toys are happy that they will get played with again, however the leader Lots-O, Ned Beatty, decides to put them with the much younger kids so they can get broken and your curious as to why, well I'll say it was a it confusing as to why, but this clown that used to be Lots-O's best friend explains that he got replaced by their owner and he was furious for all these years, and a huge twist was that they switched Buzz, Tim Allen, to restart and therefore he thinks he's an astronaut again like in the first movie, and Woody comes back to save his friends and head back to Andy's house. Amazing movie the story made a lot of new awesome characters added, but more important, this was the best movie of the Toy Story trilogy, and I really enjoyed it the whole way through, I also might have to say that there is a little girl in the movie stood out a lot in this movie, and that scene with her and Andy playing with the toys once again, showing that you can pass the next generation, but I must say, I love this movie, so much! Cars 2 (2011)
Pixar, What Happened? So this movie starts off like if they were making some Spy movie when in fact the trailers did show that this movie was instead gonna be an ultimate race movie which could have been okay, but it sure was far from okay. Now Lightning McQueen, Owen Wilson, has just came back from a race and of course his best friend Mater, Larry The Cable Guy, was ready to have the best day ever with him. In TV, this racer by the name of Francesco Bernoulli, John Turturro, calls out McQueen saying that he is overrated and sure enough Matter defends him and then cost Lightning to join the World Grand Prix and it will determine who will be the greatest racer in the world, and that story would be decent to see, however I do kind of believe that it would be the same story to the first one. Now I would have really preferred that story because you may find much more enjoyment than what we got, some spies are looking for someone with some sort of data that somehow Mater got and this made Mater the main focus of the movie. This is not only the worst Pixar movie ever made, but the laziest movie that they had to offer, it felt so rushed and looked like Pixar had no idea what to put for this year, but then again we didn't get The Incredibles 2 which honestly makes me hate this movie a million times more than what I already did, and to top it off The World Grand Prix is an afterthought. To top it off, this made Cars be some of the most hateful characters in the animation studio, and its sad considering everything great that Pixar has accomplished in the last couple of years! Anyways this movie sucked and you shouldn't waste your time with this piece of Mater Garbage! Overall: 2/10

Brave (2012)
A Massive Disappointment! The movie starts with Merida, Kelly Macdonald, just hanging and she believes in her mind that she can be a warrior like her dad King Fergus, Billy Connolly. Now her mom Queen Elinor, Emma Thompson, is not accepting her to be who she wants to be, so later Merida decides to meet up with The Witch, Julie Walters, and she hopes to change the mind of her mom with a potion, but instead that turns her mom into a bear. Yeah this movie didn't really suck if you were watching a different movie, those moments in the beginning where Merida shoots Arrows, I really thought that his could have been a really cool Pixar version of Mulan, but Pixar just threw that idea in the garbage. This will go down as a kids movie and sadly this movie just kept slapping me in the face as it goes on. One question that never got to me in the movie was the whole thing where Merida was following a bunch of blue shining balls that lead her to dangerous things for no reason except sending you to near death. With the focus of the bear possibly being a bear for all eternity has led to Merida and her mom to figure how to make Queen Elinor back into her regular form and instead of that, they walk around the bushes playing around, which eventually leads towards another bear in which now we have a protagonist in the movie because it wasn't like nothing was even happening. To top it off, the way Queen Elinor turns back into herself was so stupid, a blanket that got ripped in half gets fix, Merida cried, but mom's back I guess. This is a kids movie, so there is not much to complain, if you enjoy it fine, it just wasn't for me, super bummed out that it didn't live up to my expectations! Overall: 3/10

Inside Out (2015)
In Fact Pixar's Greatest Idea, EVER! The movie starts with Riley, Kaitlyn Dias, is moving to a differenet school, no longer in Minnesota and that leaves her emotions Joy (Amy Poehler), Sadness (Phyllis Smith), Disgust (Mindy Kaling), Anger (Lewis Black) and Fear (Bill Hader) to make another day great for Riley. Now Sadness wants to be a part of Riley's new first day of school, but Joy doesn't want that to happen because she can get in the way. Of course, Sadness takes her place in the team and causes chaos. All of Riley's precious memories almost get sucked in and Joy and Sadness go and try to get them back and also hurry back while Anger, Disgust, and Fear try to make Riley happy once again. It was so cool to see all these emotions that are suppost to be in your head and you do think for a while, are emotions really in your head all the time, or not! Another really cool thing that I saw was Imagination Land where they show all the things Riley would want like a world of clouds, a Canadian boyfriend, and so many other things, really cool. It is not only for kids, but adults too and trust me, they will also think this is the best idea ever made for a Pixar film. Not only is this just an all out amazing movie, but ne of the best this year, it sure is so far my MOVIE OF THE YEAR! I really want to say this is the best Pixar Movie that was ever made but at the same time you really have to think of all your favorite movies as a child: Finding Nemo, Up, Toy Story, Monsters Inc., and so many others, it is really hard to decide if this is in fact the best Pixar Movie of all time. Something I would change a bit is Disgust, I don't believe we saw more of her in the film playing her role that much, but I would let that slide because if you think about it a little bit, how can you really use her in this movie. Watch my full on spoiler review on YT and please watch this classic! Overall: 9/10

The Good Dinosaur (2015)
Two Pixar Movies In One Year! So the story here was that the original metier that extincted the dinosaurs missed, and the movie continued from there, not really explaining why that was the case, just happened, but something I really didn't get was as to ho all farmers just became farmers. Now I'm not trashing the movie, I did like this movie, just wanted to get some issues out the way. So in the movie, there's a dinosaur named Arlo, Raymond Ochoa, and in the movie, his parents played by Jeffery Wright and Frances McDormand which later on suffer a tragedy where he and his parents get separated and now Arlo is on an adventure where he hopes to find his family once again, but with that happening, he finds a little boy he eventualy names Spot, Jack Bright, and throughout this movie he becomes Arlo's pet sso to speak. I believed that out of most Pixar buddies, these two have to eventually be in the top five like with Buzz and Woody from Toy Story, Marlin and Dori from Finding Nemo, and even Mike and Sulivan from Monster Inc. Now lets talk about the animation, the best ever, there are times that the movie didn't even feel like a cartoon, you forgot about the movie being an animation which was honestly the best part of the whole movie, and I'll never forget that beautiful scene where Arlo and Spot where with the Fireflies. This movie was enjoyable, but you felt the vibe of been there done that, if you saw Ice Age, then chances ar you know most of this movie, I still had fun, don't get me wrong, but this movie didn't feel all special after all, I would have rather seen this movie be a short and watch a movie of Sanjay's Super Team. Not downing this movie, its more for kids, and some adults might think its okay! Overall: 7/10

Finding Dory (2016)
Just Keep Swimming! The movie kicks off six months after Finding Nemo where Dory, Ellen DeGeneres, is on the look for her parent due to her dreams and places she's remembered, and it also shows what Dory was after before meeting Marlin, Albert Brooks. Dory plans on finding them with the help of Marlin and Nemo, Hayden Rolence. Now I really liked that this wasn't a complete rerun, but I didn't really liked how easy it was to get to their destination. In the movie, Dory gets taken and now Marlin and Nemo are up to get Dory while she meets new people who happened to already knew her, but since Dory forgets things, she is re-meeting some characters like a Whale-Shark named Destiny, Kaitlin Olson, and Bailey, Ty Burrel. Now lets talk about the Octopus Hank, Ed' O Neil, and I have to say that he was 50/50 with me at first. If you watch Modern Family, then Ed O'Neil is the same, but as Dory says, he is an Octopus with three hearts. For me the funniest characters where the Seals voiced by Idris Elba and Dominic West. This was sequal that we didn't need, but it didn't suck and you can go with it for the most part. My major problem with me was that some parts where you needed to feel incredibly emotional like the first movie, and Marlin and Nemo's story didn't work as well as I expected, like I said Dory's story is what carried the story for the most part. I wasn't a fan of Bailey, kind of annoying, he is a Beluga Whale and I am not a fan of his whole echo location powers that are mainly used at the end, and I kept getting irritated that they believe that is true. Besides that, it still had the magic of the previous movie, and it is the best non Toy Story sequal. Overall: 8/10

Cars 3 (2017)
Things Change! The movie stars Lightning McQueen, Owen Wilson, who is still a race car, and he is still trying to be the best once again, but as we saw in the trailer, he got hurt. He tends to lose a lot more than usual to the much newer and younger talent around the racing world, and his new challenger Storm played by Armie Hammer, has made him realize that he is not the same anymore. Lightning McQueen is set to train with Cruz, Cristela Alonzo, and that is the main plot for the movie, teaching Lightning McQueen the new ways and just making him the underdog, which worked. The first half of the movie dragged a lot which didn't help out the movie that much. What was easily my favorite part of the movie was the little showing of Mater, Larry The Cable Guy, I honestly wished that the killed that character off, I know its a kids movie, but honestly Larry The Cable Guy is the most annoying character I've witness in film. While this movie is not a Pixar movie that will stick out years, I honestly think that Cars 3 is my favorite out of the franchise, despite the drag in the beginning, it made the main lead stand out. Lightning McQueen was always too cocky in the first two movies, in here he has grown, he has matured, and he had a character in this one. Cruz was possibly my favorite character in the movie, she made McQueen have a heart for one, unlike Mater who in the first one just gave him a heart because Lightning didn't really have anyone. In a way, this felt like a reboot for the franchise, however I don't want multiple Car movies, this is fine. Overall I think this is a really nice movie to watch, yes it is mainly shooting for kids, but adults won't beat their head over the movie. I don't see this as a theater worthy movie, but it isn't terrible, it just a fine movie to watch. Overall: 7/10

Coco (2017)
The Book Of Life Done Better! The movie is about a young boy named Miguel, Anthony Gonzales, who has been always trying to be a famous musician because he believes his idol Ernesto De La Cruz, Benjamin Bratt, is his grandfather. His family doesn't believe in music because all musicians leave their family behind and just focused on fame. One day he finds De La Cruz's old guitar and when he plays the guitar he is send to the Land of the Dead and he is out to look for Ernesto. The movie introduces you to Hector, Gael Garcia Bernal, and he tries to help Miguel find De La Cruz unless he promises to go back to the Land of the Living and put his picture up for so he doesn't die and hopefully see his daughter once again. The movie was first of all a visually stunning movie with the visuals of this new world Miguel came to. I liked ho they made people interested into the Mexican culture without beating it to you in the head. The Book Of Life is a god movie, but it tried to hard being funny than making you feel sympathy for any of the characters. Pixar knows how to make an audience feel emotions and also make you cry. This is why Pixar is my favorite franchise of all time. Being a music lover and performer myself, I can connect to this movie in a very similar way, and I loved the movie. This also shows you things behind celebrities and idols you admire, maybe they are not who you think they are and maybe some thins are more important than others. Not gonna lie, in the beginning of the film I wasn't really behind Miguel's family because they felt to goofy and seeing that Pixar takes their movies serious it felt a bit off. I believe every audience should see this movie, this is by far one of the better movies to do so. Overall: 10/10

Incredibles 2 (2018)
Waited 14 Years! The movie starts exactly where we left off with The Incredibles fighting The Underminer, plus it sticks to the story of how superheroes are still illegal due to all the damage they make. A man named Winston Deavor, Bob Odenkirk, grew up loving superheroes and he wants them so stand out more. The choice they chose for the job was Elastigirl, Holly Hunter, which meant that Bob, Craig T. Nelson, is stuck being a stay at home dad which honestly was by the the best parts from the whole movie. Violet and Dash hardly get any development but they have their reasoning for being in this film. The kid with the most screen time was Jack-Jack as he was a baby with a ridiculous amount of super powers. Frozone, Samuel L. Jackson, has a tad bit more to do in this movie, the work they put on his ice powers were stunning to look at and it made him such a stand out in the film. The biggest criticism for this movie was how the villain was to predictable, and how the moment that character appeared, you knew that was the villain. I also didn't like some of the newer superheroes in the film, they were really boring to say the least, plus the way they were animated felt lazy. Speaking of animation, Elastigirl is hot for a cartoon, we kinda scene that in the original, but here we really see it. The original focused on Bob, here was Elastigirl, but in the third I really want the focus of the series to be Violet, I think we can get a cool story about her and how much she hates being super. I respect Brad Bird for actually making us wait this long for a equals, because in interviews he states that he didn't just want a throw away sequal, he wanted something just as good as the original. For a wait this long, I was pretty happy with the movie I got, the characters are awesome still, and I can't wait for more adventures with this family. Overall: 9/10
