Lord Of The Rings: The Fellowship Of The Ring (2001)
The Journey Begins! So we start and get the sense of were these powerful ring comes from in which Bilbo, Ian Holm, now has for the past fifty years after the death of Sauron, or so we thought now that all Sauron is now a big eye. Gandolf, Ian McKellen, who is a powerful wizard decides to visit the world of The Hobbits who are these people who rest without drama in their life until he finds Frodo, Elijah Wood. Both Frodo and Samwise Gamgee, Sean Astin, where sent to travel to Mount Doom to dumb the ring into a volcano and destroy the ring. Through the journey they are sent with Gimli (John Rhys-Davies), Legolos (Orlando Bloom), and Aragon (Viggo Montesesn) who are warriors that in my mind stole the whole movie. Aragon was set to be King, but he didn't want to deal with all of this craziness going on. Boromir, Sean Bean, brings this story together when you see his side of how he was holding the ring, and how it changed him as his journey went on because Boromir was who warmed them about it. The ring has the power of turning you invisible, but anyone who has it later just feel drawn to that ring and forget about everything in their lives. The fight that made me was the battle between Gandolf and Balrog. Not only was it very cool visually, but it shows me how the next movies were going to be considering that once the movie ends, the journey would still continue. I really love this movie for the visuals, music score, characters, and the overall adventure. Really liked how it came from happy bright to angry dark tones with the movie. You can tell Peter Jackson read the books from J.R.R. Tolkien which made the movie super incredible. I enjoyed this movie, this really was the birth for The Lord Of The Rings! Overall: 10/10
